Make A Wish 35th Anniversary Tulsa Oklahoma Tee Featured T-shirt
It’s Make-A-Wish®’s 35th anniversary! To celebrate, Boomtown Tees has partnered with Ethan Starkweather and the Oklahoma chapter to help raise funds for the organization! From now until the end of August, the proceeds from this shirt will go directly to Make-A-Wish - Oklahoma
Ethan Starkweather was eight years old when his Wish was granted by the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oklahoma. His Wish was such an incredible event in his life that he wanted to ensure more kids would have their Wishes granted.
Ethan’s first fundraising effort for Make-A-Wish began right before his Wish trip when he painted a large piece of artwork to be auctioned, and all he could ask about was if his art was going to help other kids. When Ethan found out that his painting had raised several hundred dollars for the organization, his response was, "How many more paintings do I need to make so another kid can get their Wish?"
Since his first fundraising effort nine years ago, Ethan has continued to work tirelessly to raise even more funds. He takes his role as Wish Ambassador very seriously and says it's his job, sharing his passion for the Make-A-Wish mission with everyone he encounters. Ethan has participated in many events since he first got involved, including collecting coins all year for the annual Stories of Light campaign, Macy's Letters to Santa, multiple horse shows, raffles, auctions, Rumble and Roll with Myers Duran Harley Davidson, golf tournaments, a house auction with Simmons Homes, and selling Wish stars and bracelets.
Ethan's Wish trip is something he still talks about almost every day. It gave him back a spark that countless hospital stays, doctor visits and living with significant challenges as a child had dimmed. Not only did his Wish bring Ethan joy, at 8 years old Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oklahoma inspired a mission in him and gave him a way to help others.
By purchasing this shirt, you are helping to give that spark to many more Oklahoma children with life-threatening medical conditions. Thank you!
